STONE &
GRAVEL

Colored stone and gravel driveways — the natural, low-maintenance alternative to asphalt with stunning curb appeal.

✔ Multiple Color Options
✔ RCA Stone Base
✔ Eco-Friendly Tack Oil
✔ 8-Ton Compaction

RUSTIC CHARM, BUILT TO LAST

If you're looking for a natural, elegant alternative to asphalt, our colored stone and gravel driveways deliver standout curb appeal with a timeless, countryside feel. Perfect for summer homes, country estates, or any property where you want that classic Long Island charm. We offer blue, tan, burgundy, and white stone options to match any aesthetic.

Unlike cheap gravel dumps, Ram Asphalt builds every stone driveway with the same structural precision as our asphalt work. That means full excavation, a compacted RCA stone base, eco-friendly tack oil for adhesion, and multiple passes with an 8-ton roller. The result is a beautiful, firm surface that drains naturally and holds up for years — not a loose pile of rocks that washes away in the first rainstorm.

We serve homeowners across Suffolk County and Nassau County who want something different — a driveway with character that stands out from every other house on the block.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Every stone driveway is built with the same precision as asphalt paving — proper base, proper drainage, proper compaction.
01

Excavation & Grading

The site is fully excavated and graded for optimal drainage and a level foundation. We address any soft spots or slope issues before moving forward.

02

RCA Stone Base

A solid RCA stone base is installed at proper depth and power-compacted with an 8-ton roller. This is what separates a professional stone driveway from a cheap gravel job.

03

Eco-Friendly Tack Oil

We apply eco-friendly tack oil to the compacted base. This bonds the decorative stone to the surface and prevents it from shifting, scattering, or washing away.

04

Stone Placement

Your choice of colored stone — blue, tan, burgundy, or white — is carefully raked out to an even depth across the entire surface for a uniform, polished look.

05

Final Compaction

The stone surface receives a final pass with the roller to lock everything in place. For sloped driveways, we may apply a second coat of tack oil and stone for extra durability.

06

Cleanup & Walkthrough

We clean up the entire work area, edge the borders, and walk you through maintenance tips to keep your new stone driveway looking pristine for years to come.
