Paving done YOUR way

We provide start-to-finish asphalt paving services for driveways, roadways, and parking lots throughout Long Island. Whether it's a small residential driveway or a large commercial lot, every job is handled with precision, experience, and care. Smaller driveways are installed by hand to ensure flawless results, while larger-scale projects are completed using state-of-the-art self-propelled paving machines for efficiency and uniformity. We customize each installation to match the specific needs of the property, including optional Belgium block or brick bordering to enhance curb appeal and define edges with a clean, finished look.

🔧 Asphalt Paving Process (Residential):

1. Site Inspection & Planning
We begin by thoroughly inspecting the property to identify any potential drainage issues, soft spots, or obstacles. Utility companies are contacted to mark underground lines if necessary, and property surveys are reviewed to ensure paving stays within legal boundaries.

2. Excavation & Removal
All existing surface materials—grass, dirt, broken asphalt, or concrete—are removed and carted away. This step is crucial for ensuring proper drainage and a long-lasting final product.

3. Sub-Base Installation
A layer of RCA (Recycled Concrete Aggregate) stone blend is laid down at a depth of 4 to 6 inches. This stone base is then graded and power compacted with an 8-ton roller to form a stable foundation that resists settling, cracking, and water infiltration.

4. Settling Time (As Needed)
Depending on ground conditions, the sub-base may need to settle naturally for anywhere from 1 day to 2 months before paving begins. This ensures the foundation is firm and reduces the risk of future issues.

5. Asphalt Paving
A layer of hot commercial-grade asphalt is laid at a depth of 2 to 3 inches and is carefully compacted and smoothed to meet the design specs of the job. Edges can be finished with stone or brick for added durability and a polished appearance.

6. Curing Time
To protect the integrity of your new surface, we recommend waiting at least 72 hours before driving on it. This allows the asphalt to properly cool, cure, and harden
