Process:

We don’t cut corners—every gravel driveway is built with the same precision as asphalt paving. That means proper excavation for drainage, a durable RCA stone base, full compaction with an 8-ton roller, and a coat of eco-friendly tack oil for strong stone adhesion. From there, your choice of blue, tan, burgundy, or white stone is laid and compacted again for a finished surface that looks beautiful and holds firm.

Installation Process:

  1. Site is excavated and graded

  2. RCA stone base installed and power-compacted

  3. Eco-friendly tack oil applied

  4. Colored stone is raked out evenly

  5. Surface is compacted again to set the finish

  6. (For sloped areas, two coats may be used)

Stone Driveway Pros:

  • Classic “country” look with various color options

  • No sealcoating needed

  • No cracking like asphalt

  • Excellent drainage in many cases

A Few Considerations:

  • Occasional re-raking or weed maintenance may be needed

  • Not ideal for sports or play areas

  • Snow removal can be a bit more involved
